Actually, I'm waiting for something new relevant to this thread.

I can say "Yeah-huh" while you say "Nunht-huh" till we're both blue in the face, and the net result will be... striving after the wind.

You want more proof. I'll see what I can find. Until then, the thing speaks for itself.
I won't hold my breath. Yes, it says, "incredible", but not in the sense that you would like it to be.

I'm going to hold you and your church accountable on this one OG. This appears to be just another fake healing scam with wild claims of having 63 specialist doctors supposedly all reporting that the ailment was incurable with no supporting medical evidence being brought forward. It also appears to have a demonstrated lie to help prop it up (the supposed Oprah TV appearance) and give it credence with a false Argument From Authority. You have the ability to fact check this faith healing claim as it came to you locally within the folds of your own church.

You could:
1· Provide medical evidence and a date of appearance on Oprah with a short clip.
2· Debunk it as totally untrue
3· Provide proof that it occurred naturally against a number of specialist opinions.
4· Provide proof that it recovered naturally in accordance with a number of specialist opinions, or
5· Have sincerely attempted to fact check it by evidence that you have contacted the claimant and will provide updates when and if further evidence is able to be presented.

Until then your claimant`s credibility and your gullibility will be in question. As stated previously, this appears to be just another fake healing scam

Well I did go to Oprah's website which contains content from her many shows and magazine but I couldn't find anything about "your" pastor. Yet, I cannot conclude that he wasn't on her show. I did come across a website that I believe he owns where he is selling mp3 versions of the recording along with some other inspirational messages. Again, there is nothing wrong with such behavior and the proceeds could be for a good cause but it is information that skeptics would want to consider in the spirit of full disclosure. I also read where the number of physicians is now 300 from one article but that could always be a misprint, an error or even a correction. I personally believe he experienced a healing but since such things do occur naturally, I don't see the urgency to abandon a natural explanation but I do understand why believers would come to that decision.

As I recall, you did not claim it was a divine intervention but you said that it strongly suggests it. But elsewhere on the forum, I believe you offered it as evidence to back up a claim. Has your opinion on this matter changed?

Finally, where's my number? This is a trivial matter for both God and you but it's a matter of eternal significance to me. Look into it, I beseech you.

How did did you go with your quest with the supporting medical evidence being brought forward or at least a date when he supposedly appeared on Oprah? This should be easy for you to at least contact him through your church to see if he is willing to share info to validate these claims.

It looks like OG has left the building and is unable (at least for the present) to furnish any credible evidence for his unsupported wild claims. What a way to go! How will we ever recover?
