The primary ( but not the only) purpose of marriage is to care for kids. As long as the kids are cared for, I don't care how adults decide to cooperate to accomplish that task.

For some other options - read "Moon is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert A. Heinlein.
The "god experience"? I have no idea what you are talking about. This sounds like COMPLETE BULLSHIT that you are just making up. How do you define "god experience" in objective scientific terms?-Mitch - a Christian beyond compare.

This is also mentioned in the Wikipedia article on "Group Marriage".

I voted for both, but I would clarify that I support poly marriages in general, not specifically polygamy. Meaning that I think these unions don't have to consist of multiple women and one man, but any combination of genders/etc that works for them (consenting adults of course). Me and my husband have seriously considered adding someone else to our relationship if it was the right fit. It would be really nice to have the option of marriage someday if that ever happened.

Interesting. Why? Male or female? Or is this unimportant?
