If you wish to make an introduction, do so here. If you need help with navigating or with the functions used on this board such as how to quote another's comments, leave your request and we will reply. We look forward to helping you and thanks for listening to the podcasts. Be aware that outside of this zone, the conversations become more lively and there are fewer rules for moderating any discussion.
Another day, another step closer to the answer. How many more steps do I have I wonder?

I think, if the goal is to have new people introduce themselves here on this forum section it should be advertised a bit more. As of right now they would first have to check this section out to know that this is where they introduce themselves.
The question [Do you believe in God?] has a peculiar structure. If I say no, do I mean I'm convinced God doesn't exist, or do I mean I'm not convinced he does exist? Those are two very different questions. [Dr. Arroway]

I think we'll sticky this one as well as a general description of the format ....

as soon as we come up with it!

I thought we were waiting a bit longer before opening day!

Welcome. "Nice"? Uh-oh, lol.

Some are, some aren't. Depends on what you mean by "nice". But enjoy the forum.

Most of us have the potential to be nice and the potential to be not nice. Sometimes not nice is necessary. Welcome to the forum. Great to see someone from a country that isn't predominantly English-speaking.

Thanks. I will admit to arriving here via England, though. :)

Oh no, that's okay. I had a suspicion you'd be a native English speaker. Nemesis is an excellent name, by the way. Makes it seem you wouldn't have a problem with unkind forum users, though :-D

Nemesis,

Gender neutral nicks like yours often mean people will call you "he" (patriarchal influence I suspect). You might wish to define a gender you prefer to be called as. I'm a male.

To be fair, the majority of forum users here are male, so it might also be merely the safe assumption. I'm sure you're at least partially right, though, that "the patriarchy" also has a hand in it, as it too often does.
