Rules and boundaries are one thing. But Don't for a second think that we are just going to say that the punishment for breaking his rules is at all Just.
There is nothing wrong or unjust about this. As Christianity goes God has indeed created beings in this manner and we have indeed done wrong.
You or I didn't do any wrong. It was Adam and Eve who did the "wrong". Why should we be to blame for their actions.
The choice was lost a long time ago, we're slaves to sin according to Christianity, we can't escape the depravity of our own hearts.
Wasn't that a cruse put on us by God for breaking his rules? Did he not Make us this way? He creates us then punishes us for how we are.
What God has done is given us the opportunity for new life by giving up his own.
He gave up his life? Who honestly buys this... He pretended to die for three days. How did he give up his life, and he is still around today. Wasn't it his sons life anyways?
The way I see it there has never been and will never be a greater love than this.
Get married and have kids, then you will see there is.
The way I see it this is the ultimate catalyst for love, a situation in which we have nothing else but Jesus himself to thank for our life.
That is more slavery and dependence than love...
Our prideful hearts have no place in this relationship,
Says who?
its pure love, thankfulness, humility and gratitude and all by the grace of God himself.
So it has nothing to do with your capacity for Any noble trait then? its only through God you can accomplish any of that? Why do you think its like that for you but not for me? I can experience all those things quite well in fact, with out any God required.
Perhaps you would have been better off saying if sin exists in your life, you have no choice.
Sin is such a muddled word for me also. Obviously i don't believe in sin, but its a word I need someone to go into detail with me on why they feel it would be appropriate to use.
