These two complementary sites offer pointed counter-apologetics to Christian claims and rational evaluations of the assumptions of theism. The authors are unhesitatingly attempting to convince theistic readers that there is no God. "Why won't God heal amputees?" includes a 32-chapter on-line book that presents various anecdotes where the "reasonable" expectations for God's actions fail. "God is imaginary" provides fifty proofs that God is ... well ... imaginary.

After the publication of irreligious cartoons in the 1882 Christmas edition, Foote was convicted of blasphemy and sentenced to 12 months hard labour.
