At least a dozen baby chicks have hatched and they are so cute following their mother hens around and chirping. I'm happy to ride my motorcycle into work and feel the spring air rushing past me.
I'm really happy that the rains have returned after a stretch of days in the 80's and 90's. I have webbed feet.

Happy - after a long day (car breaking down, etc.) just picked up some delicious tomato-basil soup from the deli. Ahhhhh!!!
Ahhhhh! again! de-LISH-ee-ous! Now I just need to find a deli that has good matzah-ball soup, and I'll feel better about Arizona.Atheist37 wrote:But tomato-basil soup... I'm with you there!
That IS odd. I've been in Oregon before (Crater Lake is stunning!) and just thought that I happened to be there in the non-muggy season. That's interesting that it generally isn't muggy ... I wonder why? There's CERTAINLY lots of moisture there! And you guys didn't seem to have the mosquito problem that we hit in Washington, either ... hmmm ...There are very few humid days in Oregon, despite the plentiful moisture. I'm not sure how that works exactly, from a meteorlogical point of view.
Happy - my son's geometry teacher just emailed us with good news - he got an 87 on the final!!!! That was so nice of her to grade it quickly and email the results to us - she knew that we put a LOT of work in Yay!
Peach-mango salsa and Jarlsburg cheese ...
