**News Board** request

Well I think we can safely say that the science board is a letdown (to say the least). In fact it is not so much a science board as a science news board. So why stop there? Why don't we have a "Current News" board where we can articles from any topic and discuss them. I'm thinking we could have excellent discussions on policy,laws, politics, economics world events etc. I certainly think that there are people on this board that are interested in those subjects.

I'd like people to answer this poll so Emery can make the decision.

So should I be more swayed by the fact that voting is 100% for the new board, or that only 2 people cared enough to vote?

We're already talking about one of the polite society "forbidden" subjects (religion) - we might as well add politics and money!

(but we might also need to add some real moderators!)

Hey Kiwi, et al. I've fixed the science board "bug," now it shows up when you're not logged in.

Also, I just created a news board but called it "politics" instead of news, just in case people might think that news meant announcements and news about the podcast.
